The updated Humboldt Bay Area Bike Map is hot off the press! The previous Bike Map flew off the shelves of area retailers and welcome centers so we reprinted with a new design. The 2012 Edition Bike Map is our area's guide to cycling routes and related safety information in a colorful, fun, and easy to read format. The Bike Map will serve as an important resource to Humboldt County residents and also as a trip guide for visitors to highlight:
• The region from McKinleyville and Arcata, to Eureka and Manila, Fortuna, and the HSU and CR campuses.
• Inset maps also cover the Pacific Coast Bike Route throughout Humboldt County.
• Bike routes marked to clearly indicate bicycle paths, bicycle lanes, level of difficulty, and appropriateness for family bicycling.
• Services and points of interest (such as bus stops, bike shops, coastal access, wildlife viewing, public lands, etc.), bike safety tips and rules of the road, event and resource information, and contact information for visitors.

The Humboldt Bay Area Bike Map has two focuses. The Front side maps bike routes in and around the Humboldt Bay Area, including Arcata, Eureka, Fortuna and McKinleyville as well as the Humboldt State University and College of the Redwoods campuses. The Back side has riding and safety tips, cycling organizations, events, and much more. It also features an inset for Fortuna and a strip map of the entire county, especially useful for touring cyclists.
The large thumbnail maps displayed below open the fullsize, 24" x 36" maps in JPG format. Higher resolution 24"x36" full-size PDFS are also available:
